John Krhin
Government is bloated and has grown beyond the comprehension of our Founders. However, their foresight produced Article V of our U.S. Constitution, which grants the States the authority to call a Convention of the States to propose Amendments to the Constitution. The current initiative has been legislatively approved by 19 States and is limited to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress. I will lead MN to join this effort, which will trigger the Convention when 34 States pass the initiative. This will provide a model for MN, upon which we can implement similar amendments to our State Constitution.

It’s time to stop the nonsense and start fixing things. I was a fixer for my entire thirty-three-year career as an elementary school teacher. It was my job to find solutions and fix problems, whether it was a student who couldn’t read, discipline problems, parents who needed help, fights on the playground, or teachers who needed technology help. I was good at it. I want to take my fix-it skills to the head position of this state and start solving problems for Minnesota.
